Yes, pets get lost more than they get stolen, but pet theft is becoming more and more of a problem with pet owners. Remember to provide your neighbors with your pet's numbers and descriptions, and how to contact you in case of an emergency. It is good to compile all of the numbers and have them readily available in case of an emergency. You will be glad you did. Write down and keep handy your local animal shelter's contact information, animal control service, emergency vet care services, and any other Rescue Fire Department information.
